Val Walsh Sports Grant
Val Walsh was an inaugural committee member and life member of the PPWPA. Val was also a renowned athlete, in particular as an older athlete. The Val Walsh Sports Grant has been established in recognition of her outstanding service to the Association and her sporting achievements. Two events that Val loved competing in were the Angela Taylor Memorial Run/Walk and the Victoria Police Emergency Services Games. This grant is to perpetuate Val’s memory and to encourage members to participate in events that she supported.

Eligibility Criteria
The grant can only be used to register for the Angela Taylor Memorial Run/Walk or the Victoria Police Emergency Services Games.
An applicant must be a current financial or Over 70’s member of the PPWPA.
There is a limit of up to $50.00 per applicant. (only one application every three years).
Applications are open from July 1 each year with a maximum of $500.00 allocated for the financial year.
All applications will be considered but the decision of the PPWPA committee will be final.
Funds will be transferred to a successful applicant on production of a receipt for the current financial year.
